Admit it, most of the teenagers go through acne issues. Breakouts usually occur due to excess sugar intake, eating a lot of oily food, stomach infections, not following a good skin care regime, post workout sweat and most importantly Hormonal Imbalances. You can always work on the above mentioned things apart from Hormones! If you want to strike that balance either you gotta take pills or see a Derma! I would suggest you see a Dermatologist because you never know whats wrong with your system and whether your medication is appropriate or not.
Today’s Blog is for everyone who’s suffering with acne due to crazy Hormones and is too lazy to go to a Dermatologist. I’ll be sharing with you all a few products which have worked very well for me and a friend and the best part is the two of us have different skin types, which means I got something for people with dry skin as well as oily skin. Also, all the products were prescribed by a well known Derma from New Delhi and are easily available on amazon.com or Nykaa.
- Cleanser: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (Dry Skin) & Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser (Oily Skin).
2. Toner : I am someone who is obsessed with toners and even when the doctor didn’t prescribe one, I use it before applying any moisturiser or serum, so using a toner is completely optional. Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater
3. Vitamin C Gel: VC 20 Vitamin C Gel (Cipla) –
Now a lot us are unaware of this particular product, but most of the doctors suggest that women must apply Vitamin C gel specially after reaching the age of 24 as it gives firmness to your skin, prevents wrinkles, anti-ageing and fights damage caused by UV-radiations thereby giving you a younger looking skin.
Use in the morning after cleansing and toning and on top of it apply your moisturiser.
4. Moisturiser: Avene Cleanance Hydra (Dry Skin) & Avene Cleanance Mat (Oily Skin).
5. Anti- Acne Cream: Picon 30 (Biocon)–
This is to be applied before going to bed at night. After cleansing and toning apply this anti-acne cream and finish off by applying the above mentioned moisturisers.
These 5 simple products can really help you prevent those breakouts and give you an even-toned & healthier looking skin.
Disclaimer- These products are to be used for short term. Once your issue is resolved you can bounce back to your regular skin care regime.
