All you bridesmaids out there I have some really interesting outfit ideas for you!!!!
As my elder sister just got married and I had extreme pressure of being the eye-candy (obviously after the BRIDE!). After numerous shopping trips, surfing the Instagram to the core and what not, I decided upon my bridesmaids ensemble, so let’s go about it-
For the Roka ceremony I chose a cotton full length suit as cottons are fun for a day function if infused with a little style!
Second was the mehandi ceremony. Knowing the numerous tasks I had to accomplish I chose a dark colour patchy gown with a bright ombré dupatta, as the clumsy me would have spoilt my clothes with henna!
For the Dandia night, I wore an eye- popping RED. I sourced my blouse from Ahmedabad and mix and matched the skirt and dupatta!
Yellow is too mainstream for Haldi ceremony but an essential too, so i chose a use and throw white chanderi kurta with a yellow bandhez dupatta.
For the sangeet night I chose a pastel shade lehanga. As I did not want to go traditional at all and wanted to keep it light so I draped the dupatta in a different style to make the outfit look chic yet grand!
We had this welcoming the baraat ceremony infront of the Taj Mahal. So I chose to go a bit Mughlai and wore the brightest yellow sharara set with a passa and a floral hathfool!
So the wedding was the most important function and I had literally changed my mind a thousand times before finalising my look! I went for an offbeat combination of Hot pink foil printed lehanga with a powder blue blouse and candy Pink dupatta both gota-patti. The best part of the outfit was it was super light and looked quite heavy.
The last outfit was a slight off-shoulder gown, as the outfit was super light I paired it up with a Swarovski string to make my Reception look, more dressy!
That’s it guys ! I hope you find this blog helpful in deciding upon your outfits for your sister or besties’ wedding 😘
